Senior lacrosse player Caitlyn Brostrand has been named the La Salle Student-Athlete of the Month for the month of April. Brostrand earned her third straight Atlantic 10 All-Conference honor (Second Team) and third straight Academic All-Conference award in postseason voting. She led team with 24 points on 20 goals and four assists in the month of April, which spanned all but one game of the conference schedule. She added eight caused turnovers, eight ground balls and six draw controls and scored the game-winning goal against St. Joe’s. Brostrand wrapped up the sesaon third in the conference in goals/game in league play and tied for fifth in the A-10 in points/game in league play.

One of best players in program history, she wrapped up four-year career ranked third all-time in both career goals (145) and points (168) and seventh in draw controls (76). She finished this season with 33 goals and 10 assists for 43 points (21 of her 33 goals were in league play).
