Jasmine Alston was named the GoExplorers.com Student-Athlete of the Week after averaging 13.5 assists, 11.5 rebounds and 7.5 points in two games last week, including La Salle's first triple-double since the turn of the century against Penn last Monday.

The junior had 10 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists against the Quakers. Alston had a career-high 15 assists against Saint Louis on Saturday in addition to 12 rebounds for a double-double.

The Long Island City, N.Y. native had a 3.4 assist-to-turnover ratio on the week. Alston's four steals against SLU tie her for 10th on La Salle's all-time list.
