WILMINGTON, Del. - The La Salle women's rowing team was in action on Saturday, competing against Delaware, Marist and Temple on the Christiana River in Wilmington, Del.

The novice eight boat led the Explorers with a third place finish in its race. The Explorers posted a time of 21:01.2, topping the Delaware 'B' boat by 12.2 seconds. Delaware 'A' won the race with a time of 19:13.6.

Two varsity eight boats raced, with the 'A' boat clocking a 19:10.7 and the 'B' boat finishing in 21:31.2. Delaware 'A' captured the race with a time of 17:00.6.

The novice four boat also competed, finishing in 23:04.7. Marist won in 20:42.4.

The Explorers return to Philadelphia this weekend to compete in the 41st Head of the Schuylkill starting at 8:00 AM on Saturday.
