PHILADELPHIA - La Salle's Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) held their first dodgeball tournament Thursday evening in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month. This inagural tournament raised over 700 dollars for the American Cancer Society. The dodgeball tournament was just part of SAAC's month long Explore-A-Cure initiative which also raised hundreds of dollars through sales of Explore-A-Cure bracelets and also outfitted student athletes with pink gear for home games.

Twenty one teams made up of both students and staff played a series of round robin games before starting bracket play which saw intense action between the top round robin contenders. The winning team "Spreads" took home one of the most coveted trophies in La Salle dodgeball history, "Lady La Salle, the Dodgetastic Gal".

The Student Athlete Advisory Committee and Project Teamwork wish to thank everybody who participated and supported SAAC and Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
