"We are honored to welcome another class of student-athletes into the La Salle Hall of Athletes," said Ashwin Puri, Vice President of Athletics and Recreation and Director of Athletics. "It is always special to recognize the lasting impact these student-athletes have made through their achievements and contributions and to celebrate the legacy they have built. Their achievements continue to inspire future generations of La Sallian student-athletes."

A right-handed pitcher from La Jolla, Calif., Christensen was a key member of the baseball program from 2010-13 and was later drafted in the 27th round by the Houston Astros (797th overall) in the 2013 MLB First-Year Player Draft.

Christensen finished his career at La Salle with 44 saves, the seventh-most in NCAA Division I history. His 2.72 career ERA remains a program best while ranking second in appearances (105), fourth in wins (17), and fourth in strikeouts (206).

Christensen earned several accolades during his career, including CoSIDA/Capital One Second-Team All-America honors as a senior in 2013, an ACBA/Rawlings All-East Region selection in 2011 and 2013, a two-time first-team All-Atlantic 10 selection in 2011 and 2013, a three-time Big 5 Student-Athlete of the Year from 2011-13, the 2013 Big 5 Pitcher of the Year, a four-time All-Big 5 selection, and the 2010 Big 5 Rookie of the Year.

Griffin was thrice named First-Team All-Big 5 and was recently inducted into the Big 5 Hall of Fame last December. The Atlanta native also earned First and Third Team All-Atlantic 10 honors during her career.

Griffin finished amongst the top of the leaderboard in several career statistical categories, including first in field goals made (678), second in blocks (151), third in points (1,741), fourth in defensive rebounds (460), fifth in scoring average (14.9 PPG), eighth in FT made (321), and eighth in steals (187).

Her 2016-17 season was arguably the best in program history. Griffin scored 588 points (second all-time), converted 239 field goals (second all-time), and recorded 54 blocks (third all-time) en route to leading the team to its most wins since 1996.
