NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Freshman Colleen Larkin has been named the Atlantic 10's Women's Swimming & Diving Rookie of the Week, as announced by the conference this afternoon.
 
Larkin led the Explorers in the distance swims this weekend, winning the 500-free in 5:03.54 and the 1000-free in 10:21.99.  Both times are top three finishes in the conference this season.
 
The Campbell Hall, N.Y. native also posted a 2:12.46 in the 200-IM, good for third in the race.
 
La Salle lost to Delaware, but defeated Rider in a tri-meet on Saturday.
 
Fordham's Brienne Ryan was named the A-10's Performer of the Week.
