PHILADELPHIA - After garnering a nod to the La Salle Invitational All-Tournament team over the weekend, sophomore Rachel Finkbeiner has been named the GoExplorers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.   The selection was made by the La Salle athletic communications office.

The Elk River, Minn. native started all three of the Explorers' tournament matches and compiled 27 kills, three aces and seven digs.

In the Explorers' three set victory over St. Peter's on Friday, Finkbeiner had a match-high 11 kills.

She followed it up with another 11 kills in La Salle's 3-1 loss to Providence.

The volleyball team is back in action on Tuesday evening when it hosts Towson at 7:00 p.m. at Tom Gola Arena.
