PHILADELPHIA – La Salle will wrap up a three-game road trip with a short trip down Broad Street to visit city rival Temple at 7 PM on Wednesday. The Explorers have won six of their last seven games and 11 of 13. The contest is not the official Big 5 game and will only count in the Atlantic 10 standings. La Salle will look to hand the Owls their second straight loss at the Liacouras Center after winning 25 straight.
Scouting the Explorers (13-5, 2-1 A-10)
Despite a tough 79-75 loss at Dayton on Saturday, the Explorers have still been hot of late suffering just one defeat since Thanksgiving. The balanced four-guard lineup continues to provide most of the scoring punch with La Salle being the only team in the Atlantic 10 with four active players scoring at least 12.0 ppg.
Junior
Ramon Galloway leads the way at 15.0 ppg. and scored 18 points at Dayton. Senior
Earl Pettis, averaging 19.8 ppg. in his last four contests, adds 14.7 ppg. while sophomore
Tyreek Duren, the reigning Big 5 Player of the Week, adds 13.5. Duren also leads the team in assists at 4.6 apg. Sophomore

Steve Zack played a solid 20 minutes against Dayton, collecting a career-high eight rebounds.
The three-point shot continues to be a big part of the Explorers' offense. La Salle is shooting 39.5% from long range, which leads the A-10 and is 18th nationally. La Salle is second in the A-10 in three-pointers made and 25th nationally.
Scouting the Owls (11-5, 1-2 A-10)
Temple comes into the contest with an 11-5 record (1-2?A-10) and is led by two of the top three scorers in the league in Ramon Moore and Khalif Wyatt. Moore averages 17.0 ppg. while Wyatt adds 16.7 ppg., including 23.5 ppg. in his last four. Juan Fernandez (11.4 ppg.) leads the team in assists with 65.
Fran Dunphy, a 1970 La Salle graduate and former assistant coach, looks to be without two of his top front court players in Micheal Eric and Scootie Randall. Without that duo, Temple relies on Rahlir Hollis-Jefferson (9.6 ppg./6.4 rpg.), Aaron Brown (7.6 ppg.) and Anthony Lee (5.7 ppg./7.1 rpg.)
