The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is once again raising awareness for Breast Cancer research during the month of October through its Explore-A-Cure campaign. To raise funds members of the organization are selling Explore-A-Cure lanyards for $3 and bracelets for $1. All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

The Explore-A-Cure Dodgeball Game for students was a success last year and is scheduled to be held on campus on October 25, with all funds going to the American Cancer Society. Also, SAAC and the athletic department are sponsoring four sporting events in October to give students a chance to come to the games, wear pink and support the American Cancer Society. Students and fans can purchase the lanyards and bracelets and spirit team members will be selling pink ribbons. Additionally, teams will be wearing pink and all fans are encouraged to as well.
