PHILADELPHIA – Chris Irvin has been named ticket coordinator at La Salle, Assistant Athletic Director/Business Affairs Chris Kane announced today.
 
“We're very excited to have Chris on board as our new ticket manager and feel his experience and work ethic will make him a valuable member of or staff,” Kane said.
 
“I am very grateful to be a part of La Salle Athletics,” Irvin said upon his hire. “I am extremely excited to represent and be a part of the Big 5 basketball tradition.”
 
Irvin, a 2011 graduate of Widener University, comes to 20^th & Olney with a wealth of experience in ticketing and athletics business operations. Most recently, Irvin served as an athletics ticket office representative at the University of Pennsylvania, where he assisted with men's/women's basketball, wrestling, and the Penn Relays.
 
Prior to his time at Penn, Irvin interned in the athletics business office at Villanova, serving in a number of capacities within the department. In addition, he spent time as the overseer of men's basketball operations at Delaware County Community College during the 2010-11 season.
 
A health enthusiast, Irvin interned at the Department of Wellness at D.C.C.C. for a semester and has recently spent time as an assistant operations manager at L.A. Fitness.
