Women's Swim and Dive Fall to Villanova, 180-110

VILLANOVA, Pa. – The La Salle women's swimming and diving team lost to the Wildcats with a final score of 180-110. The lone winner for the Explorers was sophomore Amina Wilson who took first in the 200 yard backstroke in a time of 2:10.01. Wilson also earned a second place finish in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 1:00.76.

Senior Jessica Simunek picked up a second place finish in the 200 yard breaststroke, clocking in at 2:24.22. Sophomore Colleen Larkin notched a second place finish in the 400 yard individual medley with a time of 4:38.02. Freshman Kelly Quinn placed second on the 3 meter board, scoring 253.35.

The women's swimming and diving squad is back in action on Saturday November 3 when they travel to the Spire Institute in Geneva, OH for an all-day event against St. Bonaventure and Xavier. The Spire Institute is the new host site for the 2013 Atlantic 10 Championship.
