Women's Swim and Dive Fall to Delaware, Defeat Rider

NEWARK, Del.
– The La Salle women's swim and dive team lost to Delaware 199-101 but defeated Rider 185-114 in today's tri-meet.
 
Seniors Jessica Simunek and Olivia Armater finished 1-2 in the 200 yard breaststroke, clocking in times of 2:24.89 and 2:29.20, respectively. Simunek also picked up a first place finish in the 100 yard breaststroke in a time of 1:07.75. She also earned a second place finish in the 100 yard butterfly, touching the wall in 58.62.
 
Sophomore Colleen Larkin also earned a pair of wins, taking the 1000 yard freestyle and the 500 yard freestyle in times of 10:23.82 and 5:06.90, respectively.
 
Junior Katie Snee notched two second place finishes in the 50 and 100 yard freestyles in times of 24.49 and 53.33, respectively.
 
The Explorers are back in the pool this Friday November 16 when they travel to Lewisburg, PA for the Bucknell Invitational.
