CAMDEN, N.J. - The La Salle women's novice four boat captured a gold medal and the varsity eight earned silver to pace the Explorers at the annual Frostbite Regatta on the Cooper River this weekend to wrap up the fall racing season.

The novice four clocked an 8:51.82, besting second-place Philadelphia University by six seconds in the four-boat field.

The varsity eight 'A' boat earned the silver medal, clocking a 7:34.00 to edge out West Virginia which raced a 7:37.06. Drexel won the race in 7:17.01.

The varsity eight 'B' boat captured third place out of six boats in its race, clocking a 7:56.48. Drexel won in 7:30.51.

The varsity four was also in action, racing an 8:31.05 for fifth place out of six, just shy of Loyola's 8:29.93. West Virginia won the race with an 8:09.68.
