AUSTIN, TX – Senior swimmer Elizabeth Jordan competed this morning in the 50 yard freestyle at the 2012 AT&T Winter National Championships held at the University of Texas. The venue attracts world famous and Olympic gold medalists from around the globe including the likes of Ryan Lochte, Missy Franklin, Jessica Hardy, Nathan Adrian, Matthew Grevers, Kathleen Ledecky, and more.
 
The current school record holder in the event, Jordan hit the wall in a time of 23.71 which placed her in a tie for 50^th. Jordan will also compete in the 100 yard breaststroke and the 100 yard freestyle on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
 
Swimming the 100 breast tomorrow with Jordan are seniors Jessica Simunek and Blase Szyszko.
