PHILADELPHIA - To help celebrate the University's 150th Anniversary, the La Salle men's basketball team will sport throwback uniforms in its contest versus Penn State on Wednesday at the Palestra at 9 PM. The Under Armour uniforms are modeled after those worn by the 1968-69 team which boasted a 23-1 record under head coach Tom Gola. Similar uniforms were worn by teams in the early 1970s as well.

Additionally, the first 500 students in the door will receive a throwback Tom Gola player tee.

The 9 PM matchup against the Nittany Lions will be broadcast on the NBC Sports Network which reaches over 80 million homes.
