BUFFALO, N.Y. – Junior Jessica Simunek will lead the Explorers into the final session of the 2012 Atlantic 10 Championships this evening after qualifying second in the 200-breast (2:17.30).

Also joining her in the event will be senior Marci Wixted (2:23.07) and in the consolation final, Olivia Armater (2:24.45).

Sophomore Katie Snee qualified sixth (51.79) for the 100-free finals this evening.

Freshmen Chelsey Curran (2:05.08) and Amina Wilson (2:05.39) will swim in the consolation final of the 200-back this evening.

On the diving board, senior Laurie McLaughlin (226.05) and sophomore Shauna Hannings (215.50) will return for the 3-meter dive finals after posting the sixth and eighth best scores, respectively.

Freshmen Paige Frishkorn (214.80) and Dahlia Gordon (183.90) also competed in the 3-meter diving competition.

The 2012 A-10 Championships will conclude this evening with the final session beginning at 6:30 p.m.
