BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Freshman Colleen Larkin, juniors Elizabeth Jordan and Jessica Simunek and sophomore Katie Snee all earned medals in their respective events as La Salle finshed third at the 2012 Atlantic 10 Championships.

The Explorers totaled 476 points, finishing in third behind Richmond (751) and Fordham (557). Head coach Matt Nunnally was honored by his peers as the Atlantic 10 Women's Swimming Coach of the Year.

He is the third Explorer coach to earn the honor this year, joining Paul Royal (women's soccer) and Michelle Marks (field hockey).

Larkin started off the evening session by taking gold in the 1650-free, finishing in 16:48.64.  Sophomore Greta Reichert also took fifth in the event (17:05.66).

Snee earned a silver medal in the 100-free (51.11) and finishing right behind her was Jordan in third (51.18).
