PHILADELHPIA - Junior Nick Crits was awarded with a pair of weekly honors for his outstanding performance in the 1000 over the weekend at the inaugural Charles Torpey Invitational in Kingston. Crits doubled up with the Atlantic 10 and La Salle Student Athlete of the Week awards.

The junior from Ambler, Pa., recorded a first-place finish in the 1000 at the Charles Torpey Invitational this past weekend with a time of 2:25.83. Crits' time in the Mile currently ranks first in the Atlantic 10 and 21st nationally.

La Salle will return to the same venue in two weeks for the Atlantic 10 Indoor Championships.
