COMPLETE RESULTS

PHILADELPHIA - The Explorers battled city rivals in the Bergen Cup today on the Schuylkill River. The women's program had boats entered in the Varsity Eight, Second Varsity Eight, Varsity Four and Freshman/Novice Four.

The Varsity Four took fourth place with a time of 7:52.4, ahead of Drexel and Temple. First place went to Philadelphia with a time of 7:33.4.

Also placing fourth was the Second Varsity Eight. The boat clocked in at 7:34.1. Drexel took first with a time of 6:56.9.

The Varsity Eight also finished in fourth with a time of 7:21.1. The boat nudged out Villanova, which placed fifth with a time of 7:21.9. First place went to Drexel at 6:56.1.

Taking third place, the Freshman/Novice Four stopped the clock at 8:31.1, ahead of Philadelphia. Saint Joseph's took first (8:16.5).

The Explorers travel to the Cooper River for the Atlantic 10 Championships next weekend, May 5. The team will complete the spring season the following weekend back on the Schuylkill River for The Dad Vail Regatta on May 11-12.
