Crits Leads Explorers in Busy Weekend at Princeton Invite/Penn Invite

Philadelphia, Pa.- The Explorers competed in both the Sam Howell Princeton Invitational and the University of Pennsylvania Invite over the weekend. In the Princeton Invitational, the Explorers were led by Nick Crits. While in the Penn Invitational, the Explorers were led by strong performances from David Laratta and Paul Reilly.  

Alfredo Santana also competed at the Stanford Invitational, snagging an IC4A 10,000 meter time of 29:52.10. The race was a tight one, as places 1-36 all finished within 44 seconds of each other.
 
At the Sam Howell Princeton Invite, Crits, finished in 12th place in the 1500 meter race. He crossed the finish line with an IC4A-qualifying time of 3:50.38. Vince Perozze finished the race in 34th place with a time of 3:56.50.
 
In the men's 3000 meter race, Daniel Day crossed the finish line in 18th place with a time of 9:32.71.
 
On Saturday, David Laratta had a third place finish in the 800 meter race. He crossed the finish line with a time of 1:54.88. Paul Reilly, 4th place, crossed the finish line with a time of 1:54.90.
 
Kasey Geller ran the 1500 meter race in a time of 4:09.00. Geller crossed the finish line in 5th place. Joe Morris, 8th place, crossed the finish line with a time of 4:11.75.
 
In the 400 meter hurdles, Pat Ayling crossed the finish line in 6th place with a time of 58.93.
 
The Explorers have a week off until they head to the George Mason Inviational and the Rider Invitational.
