PHILADELPHIA - La Salle senior rower Katie Hunt has been tabbed to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team, announced by the league office on Wednesday evening.

Hunt, a three-year Varsity 8 rower, helped the V8 win the petite final at this year's Atlantic 10 Championship on the Cooper River last Saturday.

She was also part of the V8 boat that captured a silver medal at the Kerr Cup on April 22, the first time a women's boat has competed at the Kerr Cup in several years.

Hunt has rowed for La Salle for the past four years, starting her freshman year in the Novice 8 and helping that boat earn Frostbite Regatta gold. She advanced to the Varsity 8 as a sophomore, again earning Frostbite gold.

Hunt and the rest of the La Salle crew return to the water on Friday morning, as they compete in the historic Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta on the Schuylkill River.
