PHILADELPHIA – La Salle sophomore
Anna Dolhansky picked up where she left off against the Bonnies, netting the game-winning goal in the 68
th minute to give the Explorers the 1-0 victory on Friday night.
Two years ago, in the last meeting of the two Atlantic 10 teams, Dolhansky netted both of the Explorers' two goals including the game-winner in a 2-1 double overtime victory.

Kelsey Haycook ricocheted off the near post and the third by Dolhansky found the back of the net.
“It was your typical grind it out Atlantic 10 match up,” said head coach
Paul Royal. “I was very pleased to see our girls put in 90 minutes of effort and focus this evening.”

Gabrielle Pakhtigian earned her fourth shut out of the season, recording three saves in a physical match that saw cautions issued on both sides.
“Our girls played with a lot of pride on the defensive side of the ball and earned a quality shutout,” added Royal. “Give credit to the Bonnie's defense as they disrupted our flow very well.”
La Salle, who improves to (7-3-0) on the year and (1-0-0) in A-10 play, returns to action at McCarthy Stadium at 1 p.m. on Sunday when they host conference foe Duquesne (4-6-1/0-1-0).
“Overall, it was great to see a few special performances and an outstanding team effort that led to our first A-10 victory of the year,” said Royal.
