PHILADELPHIA - Fresh off its 71-55 win at Temple, the La Salle women's basketball squad continues its march through the A-10 schedule when the Explorers tip off at Massachusetts at 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday.

The Match-Up
The Explorers and Minutewomen meet for the 22nd time in the series that dates back to 1985. Although UMass owns a 14-7 lead in the series, the Explorers have taken the last two contests. Four Explorers hit double figures, led by
Brittany Wilson's 18 points, in an 81-67 win at Tom Gola Arena last season. The Explorers also took a 67-63 decision the year prior at the Mullins Center.
Scouting the Explorers
Shanel Harrison lit up the box score on Sunday, dropping a career-high 29 points to lead the Explorers to a 71-55 victory at Temple. She also grabbed a season-high eight steals, one off the school single-game record.
Ebonee Jones also poured in 21 points, one shy of her career record, and
Jordan Mosley added 11 points.
Wilson leads the squad with 17.6 ppg, second in the Atlantic 10, and is in the league's top 15 in rebounding with 6.5 boards per game. Harrison's 29 points propelled her season average to 10.8 ppg while adding 6.2 rpg. Jones upped her average to 10.1 ppg to give the Explorers three players averaging double figures, and she chips in 4.9 rebounds per outing.
In the Explorers' two Atlantic 10 wins so far this season, they have outscored opponents 71.5 to 50.5. For the season, the squad is averaging 55.0 ppg to 62.1 ppg for opponents.
Scouting the Minutewomen
UMass has struggled this season, going just 3-17 so far. The three wins include a 30-point season-opening win over Kent State, a 65-61 win over Ohio, and a 62-58 A-10 win over George Washington.
The Minutewomen were the latest victim of #17/16 Dayton, falling 83-44 at UD Arena on Wednesday. Freshman guard Jasmine Harris led UMass with eight points and Jasmine Watson chipped in six.
Watson averages a team-best 12.1 points per game and adds 6.1 rebounds per game. She has also amassed a team-high 26 blocked shots. Emily Mital adds 9.0 ppg and Rashida Timbilla chips in 8.6 ppg. Timbilla also ranks sixth in the Atlantic 10 with 8.4 rebounds per game.
The Minutewomen average 58.1 team points per game while yielding 69.1 ppg to opponents.
