Men’s Soccer Wraps up Regular Season at Fordham & George Washington


PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle men's soccer team will continue its postseason push this weekend when it visits Fordham on Friday and George Washington on Sunday in its last two regular season matches of the season. La Salle enters the weekend fourth in the Atlantic 10 standings with a 3-2-1 conference record.

Last Time Out
The Explorers fell, 3-2, to Dayton on Senior Day behind three unanswered Flyer goals. Andrew Connors netted the first Explorer goal in the 11th minute and Jason Plumhoff banged home his eighth of the season nine minutes later.

Explorer Notes
  • La Salle is 1-4-3 on the road this season. In its last away match on October 27, the Explorers tied George Mason, 1-1.
  • The Explorers are 6-2-0 when scoring at least two goals.
  • Of La Salle's 25 goals, 18 have been scored in the second half.
