PHILADELPHIA- This week Explorers everywhere have been racking in wins and awards!

Alfredo Santana earned Most Outstanding Track Performer at the Atlantic 10 Indoor Track Championship after winning the 3000m and 5000m.  Fellow Explorer, Meghan McGlinchey, claimed the 5000m title for the women at the Championship.

Ramon Galloway earned A-10 and Big 5 Player of the Week for averaging 19.5 points per game and 8.5 assists per game in the men's basketball team's victories over St. Bonaventure and Saint Joseph's last week.

Shanel Harrison nabbed A-10 Player of the Week honors after pouring in 21.5 points per game this week, including a 23-point effort in the women's basketball team's 49-46 win over Saint Louis on Wednesday. She banked in a three-pointer off the glass on a desperation shot at the buzzer to lift the squad to the win.

The La Salle lacrosse team won its season opener against Mount St. Mary's, 12-6 thanks in part to a three-goal outing for sophomore Erin McCabe.
