The Match-Up

The Explorers and Bonnies met twice last season, once in the regular season at Tom Gola Arena and again in the Atlantic 10 quarterfinal round. The Bonnies, who advanced to the Sweet Sixteen last season, won both matchups. The first was a 75-57 decision behind 28 points from three-point sharpshooter Jessica Jenkins and the second a 68-53 win in the A-10 quarterfinals.

The Bonnies own a slim 11-10 edge in the series that dates back to 1991.

Scouting the Explorers

The Explorers are coming off of a 54-46 loss to Duquesne in the home finale on Wednesday. Jordan Mosley led all scorers with 13 points. Shanel Harrison added her fifth double-double of the season, a 10-point, 15-rebound effort. The 15 rebounds was also a season-best for Harrison.

Harrison leads all Explorers with 12.3 points per game on the season. She ranks seventh in the A-10 with 14.8 ppg against league foes, and has averaged 16.2 in the last 11 games. She has scored in double figures in the last 11. Harrison is also the top rebounder, pulling down 6.9 boards per game, which ranks her 13th in the Atlantic 10. She is also pulling down 7.8 in A-10 play, which also ranks 13th. Harrison is also up to sixth in the league with 2.3 steals per game in A-10 play.

Ebonee Jones remains second in scoring with 10.7 ppg. She is scoring at an 11.9 ppg clip in league play, ranking 15th in the A-10. She has hit 83.3 percent of her free throws in league play this year, ranking her third.

Karynda DuPree remains in the top 10 in the Atlantic 10 in blocked shots. She averages 1.6 bpg overall, 1.5 in league play.

Scouting the Bonnies

The Bonnies have suffered a difficult season following the graduation of Atlantic 10 First Teamers Jessica Jenkins and Megan Van Tatenhove, who led last year's squad to the Atlantic 10 regular season title and the NCAA Sweet 16. They are just 2-11 in conference, and failed to qualify for the league tournament for the first time since 2005-06.

The squad most recently dropped a 62-50 game at Fordham to wrap up a winless February.

Doris Ortega leads the Bonnies with 11.9 ppg and chips in 5.7 rpg. Alaina Walker leads the squad in rebounding with 5.8 per game while adding 9.1 ppg.

Next Up

With a win over the Bonnies, the Explorers will lock up the No.12 seed in the Atlantic 10 Tournament, and will play the No. 5 seed on Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Hagan Arena.
