Men’s Soccer Hosts Saint Peter’s on Saturday


PHILADELPHIA – Coming off a 0-0 draw at LIU Brooklyn, the La Salle men's soccer team will play its second home match of the season on Saturday at 1 PM vs. the Saint Peter's Peacocks.

  • Saint Peter's enters Saturday's match 0-2-1, most recently dropping a 3-1 decision to St. Francis.
  • Senior goalkeeper Carlos Suarez was named MAAC Defensive Player of the Week on September 9 for his 12 save performance in a 0-0 draw vs. Lafayette (9/4). He was a preseason All-MAAC selection.
  • The Peacocks have scored only one goal on the season, off the foot of Omar Crawl.
