La Salle's Celline Scores First Career Goal In 1-0 Win At Lehigh

BETHLEHEM, Pa.—La Salle women's soccer traveled to Lehigh to earn a 1-0 victory over the Mountain Hawks in midweek action to improve to 7-2-0 on the season.  Sophomore Kelsey Celline's game-winning goal came in the 43rd minute off an assist from Kelsey Haycook and was the first goal of the Warminster, Pa. native's collegiate career.

Celline found the back of the net off a cross from Haycook, who sent the ball into the box from the sideline, finding Celline's foot after a scuffle over the loose ball.  

The Explorer's outshot Lehigh 30-11, landing seven shots on net.  Katie Getzinger recorded five saves in the contest, improving her record to 4-1-0 this season.

The Blue and Gold return to action on Thursday when they travel to cross-city rival Drexel for a 7 p.m. matchup.

With the loss, Lehigh falls to 2-4-1 on the season.
