PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle women's swimming & diving team is set to kick off their 2014-15 season this afternoon as they visit the Villanova Wildcats at the Villanova Swim Complex.
"The team looks great, in the early season they've been working hard, spending a lot of time building their yardage and working hard in the weight room," said head coach
Matt Nunnally. "I'm excited about the work they've put in so far."
Senior
Colleen Larkin is coming off a silver medal in the 1650-yard freestyle final and a fourth in the 500-yard freestyle final at last year's A-10 Championship.
The Explorers return a pair of experienced backstrokers in seniors

The Blue and Gold will welcome a group of nine talented freshmen looking to help La Salle to the podium at this year's A-10 Championship, which will be held February 18-21 at the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
"All the freshmen are really fast," said Finn. "We have a big freshman class and they're looking really good."
