PHILADELPHIA – La Salle redshirt sophomore
Jordan Price has been named the Philadelphia Big 5 Player of the Week, it was announced today. Price averaged 19.5 points per game in a 2-0 week for the Explorers.
Price scored 18 points, including two free throws with 3.2 seconds left to break a 58-58 tie, to help La Salle beat Quinnipiac on the road on Tuesday. He scored the team's final eight points in the victory.
On Saturday, Price netted a career-high 21 points to lead the Explorers over Saint Peter's, 59-50. He connected on all nine free throws in the contest.
He currently leads the team in scoring at 15.7 ppg.
La Salle hosts St. Francis Brooklyn on Tuesday at 7 PM.
