PHILADELPHIA, PA – La Salle men's basketball freshman guard Ashton Walker was named to the 2026 Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team on Wednesday morning.
Walker becomes the fifth La Salle player since 2011 to receive the honor. He was one of two Explorers to appear in all 31 games this season and made 20 starts during his freshman campaign.
During the 2025-26 season, Walker is averaging 7.9 points on 39.4% shooting, 3.8 rebounds, and just over three assists per game. He also ranks second on the team with 29 steals.
As of March 11, Walker also leads all A-10 freshmen in minutes played (840), assists (94), assists per game (3.0), and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.9).
Walker tallied a career-high 18 points in three different victories for the Explorers this season, including his first career double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds in the 59-46 home win against Rhode Island on Feb. 21.
