This Week In La Salle Athletics: Quadrupleheader At Home Wednesday; Men’s Basketball Heads To A10 Tourney

Here is a look of the action to come this week for La Salle Athletics, brought to you by Hershey's Ice Cream.   
 
Men's Basketball 
  • La Salle enters the Betterment Atlantic 10 Championship this week in Pittsburgh. The Explorers are the No. 12 seed and will face No. 13 St. Bonaventure in the first round Wednesday at 11:30 am at PPG Paints Arena. La Salle defeated the Bonnies in their lone meeting this year, 78-74, on January 17 in Philadelphia.

Men's and Women's Swim and Dive 
  • La Salle diving will compete in the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships from Monday through Wednesday in Annapolis, MD. 
  • In the teams' last meet, sophomore Calvin LeBlanc was second in the 3-meter diving event at the A-10 Championships.

Baseball 
  • Baseball continues its stretch of nine games in a ten-day span with five contests this week, four of which are on the road. 
  • La Salle takes on Big 5 rival Villanova on Tuesday in Plymouth Meeting before returning to Hank DeVincent Field for the first time since February 20 to host Lafayette in midweek action.  
  • The Explorers open up Atlantic 10 play this weekend at VCU with a three-game series against the Rams at The Diamond in Richmond.

Women's Lacrosse 
  • Wednesday: Home vs. Kennesaw State 
  • Saturday: At George Washington 
  • La Salle hosts Kennesaw State on Wednesday at 6:00 pm in the Explorers' final non-conference game of the season. The team then continues Atlantic 10 play on Saturday at George Washington.

Women's Water Polo 
  • La Salle returns to the pool for three games this week, including its first on-campus game on Wednesday at 6:30 pm against Villanova at Kirk Pool. The Explorers then play a pair of contests on the campus at Villanova, with VMI on Saturday and Wagner on Sunday.

Acrobatics & Tumbling 
  • La Salle hosts its first home meet on Wednesday evening against Presbyterian at 6:00 pm. The Explorers were slated to host Stevenson earlier in February but won via forfeit. The meet will be hosted inside John E. Glaser Arena.  
  • The Explorers dropped a tight contest in their last time out at Missouri State two weeks ago, but scored the most points in program history with 242.045.

Women's Rowing 
  • On Saturday, the women's rowing team will kick off their Spring season at the Kerr Cup at home on the Schuylkill River.
