NEWARK, Del.- The La Salle University women's swimming and diving team defeated Rider, 228-69, and fell to Delaware 206-93 in a Tri-Meet at the University of Delaware on Saturday.
Kelsey Jenkinson had a solid showing for the Explorers, touching the wall in 1:05.87 to win the 100-yard breaststroke and leading the pack in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:23.17).
Jenkinson along with
Natalie Simunek,
Rory Kearns and
Tanawan Sukonthapanich clinched second in the 200-yard medley relay (1:48.86).
Sarah Finn was another top performer for the women, taking second in the 100-yard freestyle (53.20) and fourth in the 200-yard freestyle (1:56.25).
The senior also helped La Salle finish second in the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:35.63), along with Sukonthapanich, Kate Hay and
Amina Wilson.

The Blue and Gold are back in action on Saturday when they host George Mason in Kirk Pool at 12 p.m.
