PHILADELPHIA – In its final primer before the Atlantic 10 Championships, the La Salle women's swimming and diving team fell, 159-129, to Penn on Saturday afternoon at Sheerr Pool.
The Explorer women owned the 50-yard butterfly, finishing with the top three times.
Julia Mann took first with a 28.07.
The same occurred in the 200-yard IM, as
Greta Reichert touched the wall first with a 2:19.50.
Kelsey Jenkinson took the top time in the 100-yard breaststroke, clocking a 1:06.17.
Colleen Larkin finished second in the 1000-yard freestyle, posting a 10:26.13. Later in the afternoon, she finished second in the 500-yard freestyle with a 5:07.80.
Tanawan Sukonthapanich came in third in the 50-yard freestyle with a 24.64.
Amina Wilson touched the wall second in the 100-yard backstroke, notching a 59.94.
The 200-yard freestyle relay team (Snee, Sukonthapanich, Hay, Finn) combined for a 1:39.47, taking the top time in the event.
On the diving board,
Paige Frishkorn came in second on the 3-meter board with a 225.90. She later took the top score on the 1-meter board with a 231.97. The Explorers claimed the top four scores in the event.
The Blue and Gold return to the pool on February 19 at the Atlantic 10 Championships, hosted by the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
