FREESTYLE
Stefan Sharpe's is the top seeded Explorer in the 500-yard freestyle (4:34.07). He comes into the event ranked third in the conference. He's seeded seventh in the 200-yard freestyle (1:41.14) and fifth in the 1650-yard freestyle (9:38.60).
Mattias Glenesk is seeded seventh in the 500-yard freestyle (4:34.81). Glenesk is the conference's second-rated swimmer in the 1650-yard freestyle (9:24.86).
Jonathan Cabral is the top seeded Explorer in the 50-yard freestyle, coming in 16
th (21.42). He's ranked 21
st in the 100-yard freestyle (47.36).
Cameron Cabrera is ranked 26
th in the conference in the 50-yard freestyle (22.08).
INDIVIDUAL MEDLEY
A pair of Explorers enter the conference championships ranked in the top-eight.
Strahinja Stankovic (1:53.60) enters the event seventh while
Cameron Fadley comes in eighth (1:53.69).
Jerry Gravel gives the Explorers three top-10 swimmers in the event (1:54.20).
Stankovic also enters the weekend seeded eighth in the 400-yard IM (4:05.49).
Kip Gravel comes in 22
nd at 4:15.03.
BACKSTROKE
Dave Derr is the top seeded Explorer in the 100-yard backstroke. He comes in third in the conference (50.42). Hughes is seeded seventh (51.19). In the 200-yard backstroke, Hughes enters the weekend seeded sixth (1:51.84).
BUTTERFLY
Justin Hughes is La Salle's top seeded swimmer in the 100-yard butterfly (51.34).
Greg Fischer comes in 14
th at 51.45.
BREASTSTROKE
Johan Roth is one of the A-10's top breaststrokers. He's seeded second in the 100-yard breaststroke (56.66). He's the top seed in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:01.35), coming in over two seconds ahead of the second ranked swimmer in the event. He is the reigning A-10 Champion in the 200-yard breaststroke and is the school record holder in the event.
Jerry Gravel is conference's 12
th ranked 100-yard breaststroker, seeding at 58.80.
DIVING
CJ Gimpel enters competition on the 1-meter board seeded fourth (269.78).
Robert Freeling (241.27) is ranked eighth in the A-10. Gimpel is seeded sixth on the 3-meter board (263.55) while Freeling is the A-10's seventh-ranked diver on the 3-meter board (258.07).
RELAYS
The 200-yard medley relay team enters the event fourth (1:33.48).
The 800-yard freestyle relay squad comes in seeded fifth (6:51.53).
The 200-yard freestyle relay is seeded sixth (1:24.79).
The 400-yard medley relay team comes in fifth (3:25.78).
