PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle baseball team will visit Duke this weekend for the Blue Devil Classic. The Explorers will play Duke on Friday, Akron on Saturday, and Saint Louis on Sunday in the round-robin tournament. Sunday's game against SLU will not count as an Atlantic 10 Conference game.

Newcomers Josh Savakinus and Cameron Johnson each enjoyed big opening weekends for the Explorers. Savakinus went 4-for-11 (.364) with 2 RBI while Johnson went 5-for-14 (.357). The tandem combined for nine of La Sale's 24 hits against Campbell.
