RICHMOND, Va. – La Salle led by one at halftime but Richmond torched the nets in the second half for 63% shooting to capture a 62-49 victory at the Robins Center on Saturday. Senior
Tyreek Duren led all scorers with a season-high 26 points while connecting on a career-high six three-pointers.

Jerrell Wright was the only other Explorer in double-figures with 10 points while classmate
Steve Zack had 11 rebounds.
"I think we played hard," Giannini said. "Our guys fought."
Terry Allen came off the bench to lead the Spiders (18-9, 8-4 A-10) with 23 points and nine rebounds. Kendall Anthony added 14.
The Explorers struggled to shoot the ball against Richmond's defense, shooting 32.7% from the field.
In the first half, La Salle held UR to 25% shooting but the hosts found their touch in the second half. From three-point distance, Richmond shot 83% after halftime (5-for-6).
The Blue and Gold led by as many as five points in the first half before Richmond closed it before break. The game remained tightly contested until the Spiders broke a 37-37 tie with 11 minutes to play. A 22-7 run over the next seven minutes put the game out of reach.
"Now we get a couple of home games," Giannini said. "We have a chance if we win out to go 8-8 in the league. If we can finish strong, we can have a winning record with a terrific strength of schedule.
"I know how hard it's going to be, but I really think we have a chance to do it," Giannini said. "And I would be extremely proud of that."
The Explorers (12-14, 4-8 A-10) return home to host St. Bonaventure on Wednesday at 7 PM.
