Baseball Welcomes UMass to Start Atlantic 10 Play


PHILADELPHIA – Originally scheduled as an away series, the La Salle baseball team will host Massachusetts this weekend in its first taste of Atlantic 10 action.

The Explorers dropped a 6-3 ballgame on Tuesday afternoon to Villanova. George Smith Jr and Justin Korenblatt each recorded two-hit days in the loss as La Salle outhit the visitors 8-5.
