The remainder of the squad ran at the Colonial Relays in Williamsburg, Va.
Nick Ross ran a 3:50.59 in section three of the 1500 meter run, coming in seventh in the 12-runner field.
Zach Sullivan competed in section five and clocked a 3:53.66, good for 10
th in the heat.
Alfredo Santana and
Vince Perozze each ran in section two of the 5000 meter run, paced by a 14:21.93 from Santana (16
th). Perozze crossed the finish line 18
th with a 14:24.38 (PR).
Demetri Goutos and
Nico Greco trotted in section two of the 10,000 meter run. Goutos finished 26
th with a 29:54.70 and Greco was one of four athletes to not finish.
COLONIAL RELAYSChris Sanders posted a 1:52.65 in heat one of the 800 meter run, good for 14
th in the 37-runner field.
Three Explorers registered top-25 finishes in heat two of the 800 meter run, led by a 1:55.25 (PR) from
Chris Trimble who came in 12
th (69-runner field).
Kevin Grosso (1:55.74, PR) and
Cris Hunter (1:56.84, PR) finished 15
th and 22
nd, respectively.
Joshua Byrd ran a career-best 50.26 in the 400 meter dash finals, finishing 27
th of 80.
Dallas Penny posted a 55.07 (75
th).
Francis Mancho came in 26
th in a 59-runner pool in the 100 meter dash preliminaries, clocking an 11.38. In the 200 meter dash,
Avery Hunter-Brooks ran a 23.13, good for 49
th (82-runner field).
Kevin Day paced a group of five Explorers in the 1500 meter run with a 35
th place time of 3:57.92.
Brendan Robertson was hot on his tail, coming in 36
th with a 3:58.81.
Evan Laratta ran a PR in the 5000 meter run with a 15:04.28, finishing 37
th while
Luke Arbuckle came in 40
th with a 15:06.72.
David Ozarowski impressed in the 3000 meter steeplechase, coming in 11
th (41-runner field) with a 9:25.27.
Jimmy Murphy finished 16
th with a 9:30.54 while
Ben Pershall crossed the line 32
nd with a 9:51.39.
