PHILADELPHIA - La Salle Athletics is encouraging fans to wear blue and gold on August 29 in support of College Colors Day, the third-annual national event that promotes college spirit.
College Colors Days is an annual celebration dedicated to promoting the traditions and spirit that embody the college experience by encouraging fans across America to wear their favorite college or university apparel throughout the day on August 29.
"College Colors Day is a great opportunity to show your pride for your school and what better way than participating in a national event to show that La Salle fans have the best college spirit," stated Marketing Assistant & Promotions Coordinator,
Michelle DeLong.
La Salle Athletics took College Colors Day to the next level last year by encouraging fans to wear blue and gold, or any La Salle gear, every Friday for the academic year and will be continued this year as well. Fans can share pictures of themselves, family and friends wearing their favorite blue and gold outfits by uploading to the La Salle Athletics Facebook page, Twitter page or Instagram with #CollegeColors. Fans with the most school spirit will be selected and featured on La Salle Athletics social media sites throughout the year.Â
