PHILADELPHIA – The men's soccer team looks to build off Sunday's win over Stetson as they host Bucknell on Tuesday at McCarthy Stadium before traveling to the Empire State on Friday to clash with the Manhattan Jaspers.
Scouting the ExplorersThe Explorers are coming off a 3-2 win over the Stetson Hatters on Sunday at McCarthy Stadium, benefitting from a
Matt Robinson goal in the 88
th minute.
George Breslin and
Joe Farrell also netted goals as the Explorers remained unbeaten at home after drawing with Temple on September 13.
Robinson and Farrell both have scored twice for the Blue and Gold while a different Explorer has assisted each goal this season (
Nick Becker, Breslin,
Bobby Briggs,
Andrew Connors, Farrell).

Bucknell's strength this season has been their defense as the Bison have allowed only four goals in seven games. Mike Lansing and Clarke Fox have shared time in the net this year and have combined for a 0.57 goals-against average.
All-Patriot League forward Jesse Klug leads the Bison with three goals and is tied for the Patriot League lead with three assists, which puts him second in the league in points (nine). Jonathan Grad, Chris Thorsheim and Patrick Figgie also have two goals apiece for the Bison.
Bucknell owns a 9-2-3 lead in an all-time series that dates back to 1974.
