All-Time Series vs. Patriots
La Salle and Mason renewed a short rivalry last season with a pair of games in the Patriots' first season in the Atlantic 10. Prior to that, the two squads met in the mid-1990s. La Salle took both games last year to move to a 4-0 all-time record over Mason, including a 65-50 decision at the Patriot Center and holding on for a 66-60 win at Gola.

Scouting the Explorers
La Salle looks to bounce back from its first home loss of the season, a 70-59 setback to defending Atlantic 10 champion Fordham on Thursday. Alicia Cropper and Micahya Owens led the Explorers with 11 points apiece, and Cropper pulled down a team-best eight rebounds in the loss.

Owens continues to lead the squad in scoring with 14.3 points per game, while pulling down 3.4 rebounds and dishing out 1.7 assists. She is second on the team in three-point percentage, hitting 39.2 percent of her long range shots.

Cropper averages 13.1 points and is second on the team with 5.1 boards per game. She also dishes out 2.8 assists. Cropper leads the three-point shooting by hitting 41.4 percent of her attempts and is by far the team's leading free throw shooter with a 77.8 percent clip.

Siobhan Beslow rounds out the top three scorers with 7.5 points per game, and is the team's leading rebounder with 6.6 per outing.

The Explorers are scoring 63.2 ppg as a team, and giving up the same to opponents. They are shooting 37.3 percent overall and 35.0 percent from three, which continues to rank second in the Atlantic 10.

Scouting the Patriots
George Mason also looks to bounce back from a loss, a tough 88-54 decision at Duquesne on Thursday. The Patriots are 9-6 overall, and topped Saint Louis 66-57 in the Atlantic 10 opener.

The Explorers will have to figure out a way to stop Mason sharpshooter Taylor Brown, who leads the Atlantic 10 with a blistering 23.6 ppg average. That average includes a pair of 35-point outputs and eight more games above the 20-point plateau.

Two other Patriots average double figures, including Jasmine Jackwon with 13.5 ppg and Sandra Ngoie with 10.1 ppg. Those three players have helped Mason to 75.2 ppg, which ranks second in the Atlantic 10, only behind Duquesne (76.1 ppg).

However, the Patriots are also dead last in the A-10 in scoring defense, giving up 72.2 ppg.

Ngoie leads the squad on the boards with 6.7 per game and Brown adds 6.3.

The Patriots shoot 39.3 percent overall and are second in the Atlantic 10 with a 72.0 percent free throw clip.
