PHILADELPHIA- Senior
Kelly Quinn turned in impressive diving performances winning both the one-meter and three-meter events in a dual meet against Villanova on Wednesday evening at Kirk Pool.

The Havertown native won the one-meter event with a score of 231.09, 28.6 points ahead of the nearest competitor freshman
Dominique DiRienzo.
Â
Quinn won the three-meter event thanks to a score of 229.59, which was 7.06 points clear of teammate, sophomore
Sydney Szopo.

"We are continuing on the right path," added head coach
Jamie Platt. "Each week, we are taking steps forward and becoming a more cohesive team on the boards and in the pool. The season is young, but when we continue this growth, only great things can occur!"

Freshman
Olivia DiStefano won the 100-yard backstroke event thanks to a 58.60 time. She bested the field by 2.54 seconds. She also swam in the 200-yard backstroke event finishing in 2:08.25, which was just 2.62 seconds off of the winner from Villanova.

Freshman
Mary Harrington won the 200-yard backstroke event thanks to swimming a time of 2:31.08. She narrowly beat out teammate sophomore
Danielle Thomas who was second in 2:31.08.

Villanova bested the Explorers on the day by a score line of 222.5-135.5.

La Salle returns to action on Friday as they head across Philadelphia to take on Drexel.
