GENEVA, Ohio – The La Salle men's swimming and diving team will compete in the Atlantic 10 Championships, hosted by the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio, beginning on Wednesday, February 18. For complete coverage of the A-10 Championships, visit the

"We are excited for the opportunity to perform, the A-10 meet always provides an awesome opportunity, venue and competition," said head coach
Matt Nunnally. "The men have the opportunity to leave their marks on our program's history."
FREESTYLEMattias Glenesk set the Atlantic 10 record for the 1,650-yard freestyle (15:20.48) at the conference championship last season, and enters as the No.1 seed this year.
Justin Hughes has the No. 4 seed in the 200-yard freestyle (1:39.95).
INDIVIDUAL MEDLEYA trio of Explorers enter the conference championships ranked in the top eight in the 200-yard IM, led by top-seeded
Fabian Bergman (1:50.60).
Cameron Fadley is the No. 5 seed (1:52.03) while
Johan Roth is seeded seventh (1:52.65).
Bergman also enters the weekend seeded ninth in the 400-yard IM (4:02.55).
BACKSTROKEBergman is the top seeded Explorer in the 100-yard backstroke, coming in third in the conference (48.71). Bergman is the No. 1 seed in the 200-yard event (1:46.50) while
Jerry Gravel is seeded ninth (1:50.25).
BUTTERFLYJakub Bartosiewicz holds the No. 2 seed in both the 100-yard (49.08) and 200-yard (1:48.96) butterfly while Fadley is the fifth seed in the 100-yard event (49.90).
BREASTSTROKEThe Explorers hold the top two spots in both the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke with
Dimitrije Mladenovic and Roth. Mladenovic set a new school record (55.15) to earn the top seed in the 100-yard event while Roth, who held the previous record, is the No. 2 seed (56.10). Mladenovic is the top seed in the 200-yard event (2:00.19), Roth is No. 2 (2:00.36), and
Strahinja Stankovic will be the eighth seed (2:05.00).
DIVINGLa Salle enters competition on the 1-meter board with the top two seeds in
Dylan Yurasits (312.85) and
CJ Gimpel (307.30). Yurasits also has the top spot in the 3-meter dive (314.15) while Gimpel is seeded fourth on the 3-meter board (294.65).
Chase Ott is seeded eighth in the 1-meter (230.15) and seventh in the 3-meter (259.50).
RELAYSThe 200-yard medley relay team enters the event as the No. 2 seed (1:31.31) behind only George Mason (1:30.63).
The 800-yard freestyle relay squad comes in seeded seventh (6:52.95).
The 200-yard freestyle relay is seeded fourth (1:23.94).
The 400-yard medley relay team comes with the No. 2 seed (3:18.09) behind only St. Bonaventure (3:17.86).
