Savakinus collected his first career Big 5 Player of the Week award after collecting six hits (three doubles) and four RBI's in the series win over Stetson last weekend.
Ravert picked up his second Big 5 Pitcher of the Week award after limiting the Hatters to one earned run over five innings to earn the win on Saturday. The junior allowed just two hits while striking out three. Ravert also has a Big 5 Player of the Week under his belt (4/15/13).
Savakinus wasn't the only Explorer to have a strong weekend at the plate.
Justin Korenblatt also had six hits to go with three RBI's while
Cameron Johnson was 4-for-11 with four runs driven in.
