GENEVA, Ohio – The La Salle women's swimming and diving team collect 73 points on day three at the Atlantic 10 Championships. The Explorers now have 215 total points and sit in 7th place heading into the final day of competition.
The Explorers nabbed 27 total points in the 3-meter diving final, paced by 13 points from
Sydney Szopo. The freshman placed 6
th with a score of 256.45, followed by
Dahlia Gordon (6 points) and
Paige Frishkorn (5 points) in 11
th and 12
th.
Kelly Quinn earned three points for 14
th place.
Kelsey Jenkinson finished 6
th in the 100-yard breaststroke, clocking a 103.88 to secure 13 teams points for the Explorers.
Amina Wilson and
Chelsey Curran finished 11
th and 12
th, respectively, in the 100-yard backstroke to earn 13 total points for the Blue and Gold. Wilson clocked a 56.24 while Curran reached the wall in 56.61.
The 400-yard relay team (Curran, Jenkinson, Wilson and
Sarah Finn) finished 9
th to earn 18 team points.
Saturday's preliminaries kick off at 10 a.m. with the 200-yard backstroke.
