NASHVILLE, Tenn. -The Lipscomb baseball team scored seven runs in the 5th inning on their way to a 13-5 defeat of the La Salle Explorers on Saturday afternoon at Dugan Field.
The Explorers took a 1-0 lead in the 2nd on an RBI single by
Chase Arnold, which La Salle starter
Joey Ravert (L, 2-1) held until Lipscomb scored two runs in the bottom of the 4th.
The Bisons scored 11 runs over the next two innings, including seven runs in the 5th, to put the game out of reach for the Explorers. Lipscomb outhit La Salle 18-9 in the game.
First pitch for game three is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Sunday afternoon from Dugan Field
