PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle baseball team begins Atlantic 10 play this weekend with a three-game series against the Davidson Wildcats at Wilson Field.

th in the NCAA through Wednesday's slate of games. La Salle is also hitting .306 as a club this season, which is 22
nd in the country.

Justin Korenblatt was locked in at the plate last week, going 9-for-22 (.409) with three doubles and four RBI's in five games. The senior has hit safely in 12 straight games and 18 of 19 games this season.

-With a save in Sunday's game two win over Niagara, righty
Adam Cherry picked up his third save this season, making 11 for his career. The redshirt senior is now tied with Chris Seiler and Jeff La Porta for fourth place on the all-time list.
Scouting the Wildcats-Winners of three straight, Davidson is coming off an upset victory over No. 21 North Carolina on Tuesday at Boshamer Stadium. The Wildcats took a 7-0 lead and were able to hold on for a 12-11 victory despite the Tar Heels scoring six runs in the bottom of the 9
th.
-The Wildcats are 6-2 at home this season, including series wins over Georgetown and Akron.
-Sam Foy (.377) leads four everyday starters who are hitting over .300 for the Wildcats.
-Lee Miller has nine doubles in 2015, which is tied for 18
th in the country through Wednesday.
-Clark Beeker leads the team with a 2.70 ERA, having allowed 22 runs (nine earned) while striking out 32 in 30 innings pitched.
