PHILADELPHIA –The La Salle offense fired on all cylinders in an 11-5 defeat of the Delaware Blue Hens on Wednesday afternoon at Hank DeVincent Field.
Mark Williams had a big day for the Blue and Gold, finishing 3-for-5 with three runs scored and three RBI's. The senior finished a single shy of the cycle after doubling in the 3
rd, tripling in the 4
th and homering in the 8
th.
Justin Korenblatt set the tone for the Explorers in the bottom of the 1st, turning around Scott Zimmer's (L, 0-1) first pitch for a solo homer to right. Korenblatt finished 3-for-4 with three runs scored and three RBI's.
Korenblatt had an RBI single in the 2
nd and again in the 4
th as part of a five-run inning for the home team.
Williams's triple scored two later that inning, and La Salle pushed the lead to 9-1 after Josh Savkinus singled up the middle to score Williams and
Ryan Welling delivered a sac fly.

Alex Faust (W, 2-1) picked up the win with two scoreless innings in relief of Williams, who started the game on the hill before moving to DH in the 4
th inning.
