Chris Sanders earned weekly Atlantic 10 Track and Field Awards following their performances over the weekend.

Chris Sanders earned Co-Performer of the Week following his second place finish out of 70 entries in the 800m at the George Mason Spring Invitational. This is the second fastest time in the A-10 in the 800m this spring following only his own time at the Colonial Relays two weekends ago.

Szekely earned Rookie of the Week following her third place finish in the 1500m with a time of 4:23.63. This set the best time outdoors this year in the Atlantic 10 by more than eight seconds. This is also the fastest time in the 1500m in the Atlantic 10 since 2013 when Katie Clark of Butler ran a 4:14.94.

The pair and the rest of the Explorers return to action this weekend at both the Larry Ellis Princeton Invitational and the Widener Invitational.Â
